I have decided that, though my existing bird suit is unique and fun, I want to try making my own. So the first step is making a duct-tape dummy, but I was told I’d pretty much be ruining a set of clothing in order to do it.
Why? For $10 or less you can buy a painter’s jumpsuit from the hardware store and make the job even easier. My friends Zschamm and Darius and I bought some tape and a suit and away we went.
So here’s how we started out- first by taping the suit taut against my skinny body. Gotta make sure the crotch isn’t sagging down and the sides aren’t billowing out.

Personally, I think it’s brilliant despite the obvious rental mascot costumes. It’s funny, it makes the pompous human look like the idiot, they go out of their way to emphasize that Furry is not a kink or fetish, and most importantly… there are a ton of birds walking around on camera!
And now, some of New England’s not-so-finest snowboarding and skiing on one of New England’s not-so-finest mountains by some of New England’s finest furs.
Yes, my people will eat turkey or chicken. We’re half human for peep’s sake.
Anyhow, it was lovely having about a dozen people over to the house this year. Even though the chicken took a bit longer to broil than I’d anticipated, I had a wonderful time. It’s too bad I won’t be able to have Thanksgiving with the same crowd next year.
