Hali was born on the project planet Nova Vida IV in the city and region of Firpine. The son of a successful fisherbird, he and his half-brother Fazaar learned the trade adequately enough as they grew to fledgling village birds. During Hali’s adolescence, however, their city became the target of constant attacks by the other project species, bald eagles. He and his family fled the city mere days before it was burned to the ground.

Upon reaching the capital city of Kalacria, Hali and his brother enlisted with the council guard and served their nation as soldiers. Quickly rising through the ranks, Hali proved himself as both a warbird and a diplomat, eventually negotiating a truce between the osprey and eagle populations. Hali would later go on to end the Nova Vida IV project entirely, bringing the first non-human project to its conclusion.

With help and guidance from his brother, Fazaar, the two initiated what many have called the first successful reintegration process for a project planet. Hali again enlisted for service and is currently an officer of the UTF/Org Joint Forces.
