Megaplex 2008 is over now and as I sit here in the Jacksonville airport I’m already missing a lot of the folks I’ve met.
I’ll go into a lot more detail later, I hope, but I’m ready to just get on a big metal bird and get home and get some sleep.

Personally, I think it’s brilliant despite the obvious rental mascot costumes. It’s funny, it makes the pompous human look like the idiot, they go out of their way to emphasize that Furry is not a kink or fetish, and most importantly… there are a ton of birds walking around on camera!

Yes, my people will eat turkey or chicken. We’re half human for peep’s sake.
Anyhow, it was lovely having about a dozen people over to the house this year. Even though the chicken took a bit longer to broil than I’d anticipated, I had a wonderful time. It’s too bad I won’t be able to have Thanksgiving with the same crowd next year.
So I’m sitting here reading my morning blogs and news (which someday will be redundant, I’m sure). And I come across this little link in the middle of a story about a deputy killing 6 people at a party:
Do I even need to comment on how horrible this single sentence is? Sometimes I hate humans so much I’m glad I ain’t one of ‘em.
