I write this as I’m gearing up for MFM, recording a new album, and trying to figure out a way to get some shows booked in 2008. I’ve been self-employed as a musician for eight months now, and I can guarantee one thing: My life is interesting- much more interesting than it was nine months ago.

And I won’t ever go back to the way things were. Ever.
